Certificates

I train continuously in the areas my patients need most and to stay up to date with developments in physiotherapy. The certificates below are the formal ones I've completed so far - alongside them I take shorter courses, attend webinars, read regularly, and exchange knowledge with other physiotherapists.

  • Prosthetic Gait Training After Amputation2026

A 16-hour training by Össur Academy focused on integrating orthopaedic devices into the rehabilitation process after amputation. The course covered practical aspects of prosthetic gait training, patient education, and the use of assistive solutions to support mobility and functional independence.

    Össur Academy · 16-hour course · Kraków, 29.05.2026

  • Rehabilitation After Amputation2025

A training day at the Amputation Forum, the annual Polish conference on amputation care. It covered the whole rehabilitation path: preparation before surgery, early care of the residual limb, prosthetic gait training and the return to activity, with this edition focused on prehabilitation.

Amputation Forum (6th edition) · Rehabilitation Centre "Znowu w Biegu" · Kraków, 25.10.2025

  • Prosthetic Components After Lower-Limb Amputation2025

A 16-hour course from the prosthetics manufacturer Ottobock on how a prosthesis is built: mechanical and microprocessor knees, feet, liners and suspension systems. It covered how the parts are selected, based on the level of amputation and how active the patient is, and what each choice means for gait training.

    Ottobock Academy Poland · 16-hour course · October 2025

  • Medical Trainer Certificate2025

A 32-hour course on strength training for patients in rehabilitation: how to load tissue safely after an injury or surgery, how to select and progress exercises, and how to follow the patient's response. It ended with a written exam.

    RockFit Academy · 32 in-person training hours + final exam · 16.02.2025

  • Fundamentals of Motor Preparation2024

A two-day course in strength and conditioning. It covered fitness testing for speed, strength, power and endurance, how to teach correct exercise technique, and how to plan training across a season.

Sports Training Centre ("Centrum Szkoleń Sportowych") · 2-day in-person course · 9–10.11.2024, Kraków

  • Physiotherapy After Limb Loss2024

A workshop at the 5th Amputation Forum, "How do Americans do it? - physiotherapy after limb loss". It looked at how clinics in the United States rehabilitate patients after limb loss: how quickly they progress, how early the residual limb is loaded, and what is done before and after a prosthesis is fitted.

    Amputation Forum (5th edition) · Kraków, 26.10.2024

  • Integrational Scar Tissue Therapy2024

Two days on how to assess and treat scars. It covered the phases of wound healing, a structured way to assess a scar, manual work on the scar and the tissue around it, and supporting methods such as lymphatic drainage, taping and cupping.

    Med Coach · 20 didactic hours · 31.08–1.09.2024, Kraków · Certificate No. KRK25/09/2024

  • Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization2024

A two-day practical course in IASTM, which means treating tight and painful soft tissue with hand-held tools. It covered when the tools help, when they should not be used, and how to combine them with manual therapy.

    Neuro Projekt · 20 teaching hours (15.5 clock hours) · 17–18.02.2024

  • Deep Tissue Massage in the Clinical Approach2023

Six days of hands-on training, working through the body region by region: foot and lower leg, thigh and pelvis, deep hip flexors and diaphragm, shoulder girdle, neck and jaw. The approach starts with an interview, posture analysis and palpation, and the treatment follows from what the assessment shows rather than from a fixed protocol.

    Neuro Projekt · 52 teaching hours (39 clock hours) · 5–10.12.2023

  • Working with Scars After Amputation2023

A workshop at the 4th Amputation Forum on the scar on the residual limb. It covered desensitisation and mobilisation, and how a painful or stuck scar makes it harder for a patient to tolerate the prosthetic socket.

    Amputation Forum (4th edition) · Kraków, 14.10.2023

  • Classic Massage2021

A 60-hour basic course in classic massage, with 15 hours of theory and 45 hours of practice, taught by therapeutic massage specialists in Kraków. It is the foundation for the soft tissue work I do now.

    "Bio-Relax" · 60 didactic hours (15 theory, 45 practical) · Kraków, 26.03.2021 · Certificate No. 18/KLAS/Kr/21

I keep learning so my patients get the best care I can give.
